Join us for a special screening of the acclaimed film written, directed and starring Leah Purcell; a proud Goa-Gunggari-Wakka Wakka Murri woman from Queensland.
‘The Drover’s Wife: The Legend of Molly Johnson’ tells the story of a determined outback woman, protecting her children from a colonial world that wasn’t built for a black woman.
Afternoon tea is available following the screening with catering provided by Murnong Mammas, a catering and Bush Tucker service developed for and led by Aboriginal people.
This is a free event, but bookings are essential.
