Basically Nocturnal @ Bluestone Theatre
“After a successfully sold out season in 2018, Thomas Currie returns to Kyneton with a brand new show, Basically Nocturnal.
Basically Nocturnal is a night of witty stories and songs with adaptions of music from the 60’s to now, as well as original material. Featuring songs from Billy Joel, Barry Manilow and more, a band of synthesisers, drums and cello, along with Currie’s voice will transport an audience wherever their imagination leads them.
This production premiered at the Melbourne Cabaret Festival in 2021 and is stopping in Kyneton on the 29th April before returning to Melbourne for yet another season.
Currie has been described as “A natural story teller… blessed with matinee idol looks, relaxed charm and star quality to spare” ★★★★★ (Theatre People, 2021)
Melbourne Observer claimed “Currie has the ability to talk to the audience like each is the only one in the room… we laughed, we listened, we marvelled.”
Basically Nocturnal is suitable for all ages and will play at the Bluestone Theatre on the 29th April at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased online at thomascurrie.com.au
