Art in the Vines 25/26 Long Lunch at Hanging Rock Winery
Art, Wine & Long Lunching at Its Best
Saturday 18th October 2025 marks the launch of our 8th annual Art in the Vines Sculpture Exhibition, and we’re celebrating in true Hanging Rock style — with fine wine, incredible art, and a long lunch worth lingering over. This year’s exhibition will feature over 25 sculptures from leading Australian artists, thoughtfully placed across three acres of lawn, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Hanging Rock and Mount Macedon. Curator Malcolm Thomson will lead guests on a guided tour, with several artists on hand to share their stories. Adding to the atmosphere, live music from So Saxy will set the tone for a relaxed and joyful day. Whether you’re here for the art, the wine, or the magic of spring in the Macedon Ranges, this is your chance to slow down, soak it all in, and be part of something special.
After the stroll comes the feast. Our all-weather marquee will be set for a lavish three-course long lunch prepared by FED Catering, showcasing the finest seasonal and regional produce. Each dish will be perfectly paired with our award-winning wines — from crisp sparkling to bold reds. Long tables make way for lively conversation, laughter, and the clink of glasses as guests, artists, and the Ellis family come together over shared stories and shared plates. By the end of the day, you’ll leave not just inspired by the art and music, but warmed by the food, wine, and friendships made. It’s more than a lunch — it’s a celebration of everything we love about this place.
