A Walk of Discovery in Bald Hill Reserve
An informal nature work led by the Friends of Bald Hill Reserve as part of the Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival.
You’ll walk along the network of paths through the Grassy Valley Peppermint Forest, up to the Granite Peak Trail, then to the top of Bald Hill itself, which is a volcanic cone consisting of grassy, basalt woodland with views to Mt Macedon and Kyneton. Learn about the significance of the reserve including its flora, fauna and geological values from passionate and knowledgeable locals in the Friends of the Bald Hill Reserve group.
The walk is available to a maximum of 20 people. Participants must register with Carolyn Robb at kynetonfobhr@gmail.com.
Time: 10am – 12pm
Dates: Sunday 27 March and Wednesday 30 March (weather permitting)
