Are you ready to take a walk on the wild side these upcoming Winter school holidays?
TV Zoologist Chris Humfrey’s presents his Awesome Australian animals wildlife workshops at Macedon’s Jubilee Hall.
Tuesday 9th, Wednesday the 10th and July 11th 2024
3 Sessions each day.
10.00am to 11.15am + 12.30pm to 1.45pm + 2.30pm to 3.45pm DAILY.
Chris Humfrey has been professionally WOWing and educating kids and adults alike on all things wild for over 30 years,
and has an undeniable passion to teach people the importance of protecting biodiversity.
Chris will be ‘show-casing’ some of his favourite live native animals species
Contagiously fun and educational, your children won’t believe they are learning.
Learn about each animal’s classification, amazing adaptations, habitats, diet, threats and ecological niche!
Fabulous opportunities after the 45 minute show to chat with Chris and the knowledgeable Wild Action Team.
Awesome photo opportunities and interaction with simply unbeatable wildlife.
Live koala(s), adorable kangaroo joeys, critically endangered mountain pygmy possums, critically endangered brush tailed bettong, grey headed flying fox, sugar glider, ring tail possum, short beaked echidna, tawny frogmouth, owls, parrots, laughing kookaburra, giant python snakes, crocodiles, lizards, turtle, frogs + other special guests!
There is simply no other wildlife show like this!
Engaging ‘hands-on’ fun, suitable for everyone!
HOW MUCH?
Limited number of people per show. 100 people maximum per session, to allow for quality interaction with Chris, Team and animals.
Tickets $30 per head (Children, adults and concession holders all at the same one low price). Children under 2 free.
Jubilee Hall is a Macedon Community treasure. Ideally centred in the heart of Macedon and within a short walk from Macedon train station.
Don’t worry about the ‘wild and wooly’ Macedon Ranges weather. Jubilee hall is warm and inviting. There is plenty of vehicle parking and wheel chair access and so close to Macedon Township with plenty of meal and snack options. Why not spend the day in the beautiful Macedon Ranges, you won’t want to leave!
