Treasure Trail Competition – Autumn Festival
Using your Festival Map & Passport, turn to the back page and discover the eight Macedon Ranges parks and gardens hiding the clues needed to solve the mystery pie recipe during the Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival 1 April to 30 April 2025. The Festival Map also features an important photo clue for each park.
Once you’ve found all eight clues on the Treasure Tail, it’s time to ENTER the competition prize draw.

The Prize:
- The lucky winner will receive a two night stay in the Macedon Ranges for up to four people at the Kyneton Bushland Resort in a two bedroom villa (sleeps 4). Valued at $540
- The winner will also receive an exclusive privately hosted pastry-making class (for 4 people) with pastry chef Damien, owner of Piper Street Food Co in Kyneton. Recipes during the workshop will be confirmed with the prize winner. Teacher & qualified chef, Damian has been professionally making all sorts of pastry for over a decade. This class is hands on, fun, and suits all skill levels. Valued at $780

Competition Terms & Conditions:
- You must be 18 and over to enter. Proof of age may be requested.
- The competition opens at 10:00am on 1 April 2025 and closes at 11:59 pm (AEST) on 30 April 2025. Only completed entries received during these dates, and featuring correct answers to the eight Treasure Trail clues, will be eligible to be considered in the random prize draw.
- Employees of Macedon Ranges Shire Council, including members of any employee’s household, are prohibited from entering the competition.
- One winner will be selected at random by Visit Macedon Ranges at midday on Thursday 8 May. If the first person selected has not provided correct answers matched with the Treasure Trail locations, then that entry will be void, and a new winner will be selected. The winner will be notified by 5pm Thursday 8 May. No correspondence will be entered into.
- If the winner fails to respond and accept the prize within two weeks of contact, Visit Macedon Ranges reserves the right to draw a new winner.
- Gift vouchers will be emailed to the prize winner.
- This prize is not transferrable and not redeemable for cash. Each voucher is valid for one-time use only and cannot be split. Any difference above the value of the voucher is the responsibility of the winner. Accommodation exclusion periods apply during peak and school holiday periods.
- Accommodation is subject to availability. The winner must comply with the accommodation provider’s standard booking, change and cancellation conditions. If the winner fails to show up to the booking the stay is forfeited. Once the winner has accepted the prize, Visit Macedon Ranges will put them in direct contact with the proprietor to arrange a booking directly. Visit Macedon Ranges is not responsible for assisting the prize winner with voucher redemption.
- Following acceptance of the prize by the winner, the prize winner’s name will then be shared with Piper Street Food Co, and Kyneton Bushland Resort for the purpose of the winner redeeming the prize.
- The winner’s name will be announced on Visit Macedon Ranges’ Instagram and Facebook pages by 30 May 2025.
