SAORI is an exciting way of free-style weaving which allows anyone to create unique handwoven cloth. Suited to all ages, genders and abilities, SAORI weaving encourages people to follow their intuition as they enjoy exploring the creative process. Never seen a loom before or already an experienced weaver? Either way, SAORI weaving is for everyone. Your way, your unique creative expression.

Founded in Japan over 40 years ago, SAORI has grown throughout Japan and around the world, enabling people of all abilities to freely weave, and through weaving, discover their own kansei – their unique aesthetic. Art Weaver SAORI Studio was founded by Heather Walters in 2014 and is an internationally registered and licensed SAORI teaching studio and dealer.
