A wonderful way to enjoy the history and beauty of the Macedon Ranges is to take a leisurely horse drawn country carriage ride at Carlsruhe – half way between Woodend and Kyneton.  We drive through pretty farm land with rolling hills and see farm animals, sometimes kangaroos, mature European trees and native bush, beautiful views to Mount Macedon, the Jim Jim and Hanging Rock.

With MOTHER’S DAY fast upon us why not treat your mum (and yourself!) to a gift voucher for a horse drawn country carriage ride? They make ideal gifts for an experience that will stay with mum for ever. You are welcome to bring food and drink to have along the way and photos are encouraged!

Ride in a comfortable all-weather wagon with padded seats. Easy to enter with two low steps and hand rails. Rugs are provided on colder days and the covered wagon has see-through side panels which can be opened or closed for a cosy ride.  I also have an open top antique four wheel buggy to ride in if you prefer.
