Judith Rossell is an illustrator and writer of children’s books.  Over nearly 20 years she has written 12 (number 13 is progressing nicely) and illustrated more than 80!  She has been published in the UK, the USA and her books have been translated into nearly 20 languages.

Recently she has finished the highly acclaimed Stella Montgomery Intrigue with the third instalment – Wakestone Hall.  The first two books – Withering-by-Seaand Wormwood Mire – were highly awarded for both the writing and the design including ABIA Older Children’s Book of the Year, the Indie Awards Childrens and YA Book of the Year, Davitt Awards, Children’s Book Council awards and shortlisted for the Prime Minister’s literary award.

Judith will appear at the Woodend Winter Arts Festival, in association with New Leaves Book Store, to talk about writing, illustration and design along with what is next for her now that Stella has settled.
