Children of all ages are encouraged to get involved in this hands-on workshop exploring the creative potential of wind power.

Combining art, science and design techniques, artists will lead participants through the process of making and decorating a range of wind toys such as twirlers, spinners and pinwheels.

Using a mix of recycled and found materials, children will construct their own colourful masterpieces to take home.

This immersive play experience also incorporates an installation space with a custom-made soundscape evoking wind mythologies. There are also pre-made toys and sculptural elements available for children to use in their works.

Aimed at children of primary school age, younger children are welcome to participate with some assistance from their parent/guardian.
