Silver Ring Workshop

Learn to make jewellery and create your own made-to-measure sterling silver ring in one day. No previous experience is necessary.

You’ll learn to saw, file, solder and emery your ring. You can then choose to polish, hammer texture, brush or oxidise the surface of your silver ring. At the end of this fun class, you’ll take home your beautiful handmade sterling silver ring. This is also the group workshop you need to book if you want to make a plain wedding band (so one that doesn’t need to fit around an engagement ring).

You can choose to make your ring from 9ct or 18ct yellow, white or rose gold for an additional fee. Gold must be ordered at least one week before the workshop. You will need to know the width and profile (flat, half round or comfort fit) of the ring you’d like to make. If you make your ring from silver, there’s no need to worry as there’s a massive selection of silver to choose from, and the cost is included in the workshop fee.

If you would like to make a more detailed or chunkier ring, rather than a band, then you might want to consider the Lost Wax Silver Ring Workshop. Lost wax silver ring making is a skill you can continue to use when you get home, without needing to spend thousands of dollars on tools.

The Silver Ring and Silver Bangle Workshop are held together, as the technique is similar, so if you are coming along with someone else and one would like to make a ring and the other a bangle, just book in for the Silver Ring or Silver Bangle Class on the same date, and you’ll be making your pieces together.
