Sakura Jewellery Workshop
Unleash Your Creativity at a Divergent Designz Workshop!
Join us for a fun and creative event where you can learn to make your own unique cherry blossom-themed jewellery using UV resin!
No experience necessary, just bring your creativity and we’ll provide all the materials you need.
Choose from either a silver or gold-toned matching set of earrings and pendant necklace, or create two pendant necklaces from a variety of settings.
In this 2 hour workshop you will learn how to:
- Safely use UV resin
- Correctly mix pigments
- Apply resin for the best effect
- Cure your piece/s
- Assemble your sakura jewellery
By the end of the class, you can take home your resin cherry blossom jewellery and some new skills!
Who will be leading the session?
Kylie is the artist and creative soul behind Divergent Designz. As a dedicated maker and fluid artist with an innate desire to create beautiful things, she finds true joy in sharing her craft with others.
With over 15 years of experience as a facilitator, Kylie ensures that every participant feels supported. To maintain a comfortable and enjoyable pace, her workshops are limited to 12 attendees at a time, allowing for a personalized experience. Under her guidance, you are sure to walk away with a beautiful piece made with your own hands.
Workshop Information
The Sakura Jewellery Workshop will run on Friday 14th August 2026 between 10am and 12noon.
The workshop will take place in the Undercroft of the Woodend Neighbourhood House. The room is to the rear of the House, and can be accessed by the path to the left hand side of the House (at 47 Forest Street), or via the gates next to the Skate Park, off Margery Crescent.
The cost for the two-hour workshop is $65.00 per person, with all materials provided.
Please bring: Your creativity! Old clothes or aprons as UV resin can be messy.
Please note the workshop requires a minimum of 8 paid participants to go ahead. If this minimum number is not reached, a full refund will be provided. The workshop will have a maximum of 15 participants.
