Local theatre company The Mount Players presents their musical for 2019.
It is 1987 and bright-eyed young hopeful from the Midwest, Sherrie Christian, arrives in West Hollywood, but soon finds herself in trouble. Coming to her rescue is Drew, a bar-back at the legendary Bourbon Room, the seedy, yet vibrant heart of the Sunset Strip. Rock of Ages is a tale of big dreams in Hollywood, and a big, brash, energetic tribute to classic ’80s rock and the gritty glamour and rough energy of the Sunset Strip.
