Lost Trades Artisan Workshop – Leather plaiting 3-day workshop

Join this leather plaiting workshop and learn the art of plaiting from master plaiter and whipmaker Bill Webb. Bill was trained by RM Williams and was the head plaiter at RMW. Bill will be running this class for three days – in one day you can achieve a plaited hat band, or dog lead, A two day workshop you will plait a belt and over three days you can learn how to plait and make a classic whip. Tuition costs are $250 per day.

No experience is necessary as you will be guided through the process, step-by-step.

NOTE: Leather / Material cost depends on your chosen project – these costs are to paid during the class directly to Bill Webb.

Whip – book for 3 days – material cost + $100* for this you will do all the cutting and prep yourself with tuition by Bill. * note: Bill is happy to supply the complete pre-cut whip kit – cost is + $250.
