All funds raised assist with conservation of the collection, as well as development of new projects at the Kyneton Museum. The Museum on Piper Street is housed in a group of buildings, the imposing two storey bluestone building was built in 1856 for the Bank of New South Wales to service the miners of the region’s goldfields.
