Have a Blast with Sandblasting
Use sandblasting to detail glass homewares
Discover a new medium while working with premade glass forms and sandblasting techniques to create a glass platter and set of coasters. Participants will choose from a coloured glass platter form, and a set of beveled coasters and discover the process of protecting areas of glass to create images. Designs will be available in studio for use or simple artworks may be brought from home to create your own design.
This class is run in Studio 1, Leadlight By Ettore. Leadlight By Ettore is a multi-generational family glass arts business who specialize in leadlight windows, fused and slumped glass, and mosaics. The studio teaches terms and ad hoc glass arts classes as well as completing new commissions and repairs.
