Ground Water Art Exhibition- Malini Lewis & Sally Berridge

A joint exhibition by local printmaker Malini Lewis and watercolour artist Sally Berridge, each exploring the connection between water, nature and man.

Sally used the common mythology of the Hare, as being representative of the Moon Deities to show the rebirth, rejuvenation, resurrection, and intuition as an intermediary between lunar deities and humans.

While in Malini’s works she used Vedic texts, impermanence, merging and ephemeral beauty, underpinned by an alchemical approach to materials and process, in the colour of blue, to interweave and layer to create intriguing and thought-provoking pieces to explore.
