Floral Acts of Kindness Workshop

Camp David Farm has offered the space of their gorgeous property to run a workshop here in the Macedon Ranges. Places are strictly limited!
Camp David Farm, Kyneton-Springhill Road, Spring Hill VIC, Australia

We use our rescued flowers to teach and run workshops where members of the local community learn how to upcycle the flowers and turn them into beautiful gift arrangements.

All our workshops are led by expert floral designers and volunteer assistants. We generally have a ratio of one designer for every five participants, so there is plenty of advice on hand!

Our workshops are fun and relaxing events where you can make new friends (as we have done) or zone out with the flowers and let your creative juices flow – or both!

Our workshops generally run for 2 hours. Around half the session is spent upcycling or “conditioning” the flowers for maximum vase life (removing foliage, thorns, damaged flowers and petals), and the second half is spent designing and creating beautiful posy jars.

Our participants finish each jar they make by attaching a gift-tag with their first name and a short message for the person who will receive their random Floral Act of Kindness.
