Festival of Small Halls

Visit the Tylden Hall
Tylden VIC, Australia

With a commanding view of Mt Macedon, Tylden Hall sits on the traditional land of the Dja Dja Wurrung, at the border of Macedon Ranges and Hepburn Shires. It is home to Mineral Springs, Wineries, Spud Farms, a Stone Quarry, Horse Studs and adjacent to two State Forests.

Tylden is a Cool Country Classic, steeped in history, with many generations of farming families still living in the area. It is home to a 78-year- old Public Hall, a 155-year- old primary school, The Junction Hotel and Tylden General Store and over 500 residents. The townsfolk remain connected largely via the General Store and Public Hall. The roads out of town lead to the larger towns of Kyneton, Woodend and Trentham and via the highways to Melbourne, Bendigo and Ballarat.

The town is growing and we look forward to the next generation of newcomers, moving into the area and are excited to have the Festival of Small Halls coming to Tylden in April to nurture the musicians and artists among us and give us all the more reason to celebrate our wonderful town.

On the 7th of April Festival of the Small Halls will visit Tylden with internationally acclaimed folk artist Dave Gunning and Australia’s Clare Anne Taylor.

Tickets available online or at Tylden General Store.
