Gather friends and family for a day trip to Mt Macedon and enjoy our superb wine with fantastic tunes and delicious Italian-inspired food. Our Italian-style tapas menu – “Cicchetti” (Venetian tapas) will be available on the day. What a wonderful excuse to spend a day in the mountains drinking our delicious Italian varietals and fresh pine-scented air!

Mount Towrong Vineyard is a small family owned and operated vineyard nestled in the Macedon Ranges in Victoria.
Situated at 600 metres above sea level with direct views of Mount Macedon and Mount Towrong, this cool climate vineyard enjoys moderate seasonal rainfall. Terracing the vineyard has allowed us to maximise the use of the gentle slopes and by practicing sustainable farming techniques, we have been able to harvest high quality grapes with a low yield.
Our Vineyard is farmed with the use of organic composts with no pesticides or herbicides used. Winter pruning’s are mulched back into the mid rows. All vines are cane pruned and grapes are handpicked. Our wines are made with low intervention and the use of sulphites are kept to a minimum.
Our Cellar Door offers a carefully thought out environment coupled with breathtaking views of the local landscapes for an intimate way to experience our wines, perfectly matched with exceptional local produce.
About the Summertime Fling Festival
The January Summertime Fling Festival features three weeks of events across Macedon Ranges cellar doors, promoting everything wine, food and fun.
Macedon Ranges Wine is running the event to encourage lovers of wine and food to take a well-earned break from 2021. Come and share fun in the fresh air and scenic wide-open spaces (while following COVID protocol of course!).
This is a great opportunity to reconnect with people you may not have seen for a long-time in an easily accessible, central location – that also happens to be stunningly picturesque.
