Expressions of Nature Art Exhibition – Michelle Slater & Terri MacDonald

This exhibition showcases the works of two emerging Victorian regional artists, Terri MacDonald and Michelle Slater as they utilise colour, line, and form to explore the movement and appearance of Australian birds and botanical subjects.

Their exploration of natural themes of the Australian environment is connected through depictions of familiar birds and plants, with each artist drawing inspiration from their own experiences of the natural environment. Through watercolour and acrylic painting, as well as traditional printmaking techniques, both artists approach similar subjects with emphasis on colour, shape, line, and form.
