Creativity Cluster’s Memento Mosaics Workshop

In this workshop, Luna will guide you through creating a Momento Mosaic.

Memento Mosaics are like scrapbooking memories with mosaics instead of photos and paper. Using special keepsakes or found objects as a starting point, students will create an ungrouted mixed media mosaic piece that celebrates a special memory or re-purposes old materials.

You are also able to bring small items that have some significance to you. Some suggested items include: an old piece of jewellery, vintage buttons, broken crockery, something found or salvaged from an op shop, the beach, etc.

You will leave this workshop with a completed mosaic artwork to cherish.

This workshop is part of the program of talks and courses occurring as part of the Melbourne Design Week satellite program, “From Then to Now – Designing Old to New again” hosted by the artists from Creativity Cluster.
