Best season for Macedon Ranges weddings
There are four distinct seasons in the Macedon Ranges, each allowing for a beautifully themed celebration that embraces local produce, flowers and foliage.
A spring or summer wedding in a garden marquee or vineyard is always popular. Local peony and rose farms such as Spring Hill Peony Farm and Romswood Peony Farm are extremely busy at this time of year, supplying fresh flowers to talented local floral designers and stylists.
In autumn you have the backdrop of beautiful leaves wherever you look.
While winter is the perfect season for an intimate indoor wedding with crackling fireplaces and mulled wine. In fact, as winter is traditionally the low season for weddings, you’re likely to get good deals and availability over this period.
