More from Saint Agnes Homestead

Historic St. Agnes Homestead is hidden from view behind a dense hawthorn hedge close to the township of Kyneton. It’s a property with a rich history which has been restored to its original charm as a country retreat B&B.

Inside the front gate, the rambling homestead nestles amongst stately deciduous trees in a woodland setting.

An acre of merlot vines march up the slope and together with the pond and sweeping lawn, the rural atmosphere ensures, that once inside the gate, you will want to simply relax and enjoy the surroundings…

A short stroll will take you directly to Piper Street shops and renowned restaurants.

St Agnes is that rarest of finds. The perfect country escape. Historic living quarters have been translated into contemporary accommodation of great style and comfort, and the hosts provide the kind of gracious and unobtrusive hospitality which is instantly welcoming. A wander through the vineyard with Aggie , the kelpie was heaven on an autumn morning. The Saturday farmers’ market and dinner were highlights, but St Agnes itself is a stand out.
