The 20-acre property is a truly unique accommodation and function venue located just ten minutes from Woodend and Kyneton and one hour from Melbourne. Hedge Farm’s uniquely restored accommodation is Merino Station. This beautiful space was once a three room railway station and was moved to the property from Merino in the western district of Victoria over 30 years ago. Its romantic country style interior retains much of the charm and character of the 1884 building. The station is now a self-contained cottage with veranda, lounge with open fire-place, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom with custom-made egg bath, chandelier and open fire-place. A perfect romantic retreat for one couple with a minimum two-night stay for weekends. The station is particularly loved by brides and grooms and is often part of the package for those who marry at Hedge Farm.
