Tel: 61 3 5423 9390 Planted in 1972 Zig Zag Rd. was the third vineyard established in the Macedon Ranges Region. The non-irrigated vines produce wines of exceptional quality with distinctive cool climate flavours; they are consistent medal winners. All wines come from fruit grown on the Estate and include: Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet/Merlot, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Sparkling Shiraz. Light lunches & platters available at weekends. All the work is done by family and friends. The wine is fermented in open 1000litre vats and pressed using a basket press. |
