This collection includes a bottle of 2005 Sparkling Pinot Noir, 2006 Top Block Pinot Noir, 2006 Foundation Block Pinot Noir and 2008 Pinot Rose. What a collection! The vineyard at Gisborne Peak grows low yielding premium grapes for their estate label wines. Their Pinot Noir continually rates high in wine shows and is loved by visitors to the cellar door. Owners Bob and Barbara Nixon have much experience in the wine industry, with Barbara the founder of Victoria Winery Tours. Bob was one of the first to plant in the Macedon Ranges in 1978 and took a gamble on the cool to cold region of Gisborne South. The gamble paid off! |
