A Country DriveOur day trip was pretty non eventful till we took a detour into Trentham. The idea of driving through to take a look turned into a half day visit, lunch at the Red Beard Bakery (the sourdough bread was divine), a cruise through the arts, craft and second hand stores. It looks as though the Cosmopolitan Hotel (which was half burnt down) is on the way back. Looking forward to a return visit and a meal. The rest of the trip to Kyneton via Tylden was pleasant. The Wadham Park we drove past in Tylden looks like a five star hotel...for horses. Kyneton itself has plenty for us to do. Check out the sites of the places we visited. Piper St, awesome. We could have had a whole day here. |
